    When work is done by conservative forces the potential energy of the force field increases or decreases depending if work is negative or positive respectively... If this work is done by conservative forces on a rigid body same amount of energy changes the kinetic energy of that body... you are getting confused between work of force field or that of an external body... pl watch again and try to understand carefully...
